Is open source chaotic? No! In any collaborative project, people take different roles, set up structures, make plans for success, and everyone works to accomplish the goal. Open source projects are no different. There are methods for version control, for reporting developments and problems, for being involved in committees, for communicating with others in the community, and for making it work. Being open source does not mean a chaotic free-for-all! Come discover examples from the Evergreen and Koha ILS communities for how an open source project is organized and structured. Please note: no free kittens or beer will be available at this program!
