Program
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood when libraries and public media stations partner to support early science and literacy learning. The CPB-PBS Ready To Learn initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, supports these partnerships by funding free, research-based learning resources and developing a new collaborative model of community engagement serving low-income neighborhoods. Library and station representatives from Kentucky and Tennessee, along with representatives from the CPB and PBS, will discuss how they've cultivated effective partnerships and demonstrate free resources and tools to better serve the early learning needs of low-income families with children ages 2 to 8.
