No one likes performance reviews and they don't work!
Learn how to leverage the opportunity inherent in taking away an incredibly unpopular activity (with employees and managers alike)--the annual performance review--to drive the kind of culture and behavior changes that embrace a future focused, data-rich, employee-focused environment to accelerate employee performance and engagement.
We did significant work throughout the organization to build understanding, communicate expectations, and support behavior changes that allow weekly individual check-ins between employee and manager to be the absolute heart of performance management.
Reasons to consider making the change now?--the changing nature of our work and the need to flexibly and quickly evolve; the recognition of the importance of fostering talent and increasing employee skills; and understanding that power and importance of increasing teamwork is not served by isolating individual performance....Oh, and annual reviews don't improve performance.
We'll share where we are on our journey, where we hope to go next, and what we've learned along the way.
