What is augmented reality and how can libraries use this exciting technology to tell an immersive story or help visualize information? Carroll County Public Library, The Union Mills Homestead, and Balti Virtual will share how their unique partnership combined augmented reality with a traveling exhibit to bring local history to life. Learn about current and future applications for augmented reality and building partnerships to share augmented reality with your community. Hear lessons learned regarding the design, implementation, and impact of using augmented reality to enhance a local history project and explore how this project can serve as a model for future use of augmented reality in libraries.
