  WISCONSIN DENTAL ESTHETICS

The dental care delivery model is changing and collaboration in dental education is necessary to prepare graduates to navigate the dental practice landscape. Graduates face a diversity of dental practice models that has grown more complex and numerous. Balancing substantial debt, our graduates will seek career opportunities in a dental marketplace that offers a dizzying array of professional practice opportunities. This program will review the trends in three of these practice models and the knowledge, skills and competencies our students and recent graduates need to become productive and successful oral health practitioners

Learning Objectives:

• -Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the trends of three practice models (Private Practice, Dental Service Organizations and Federal Dental Service) that our graduates will engage.
• Upon completion, participants will be able to evaluate the options available to graduates in the three practice modalities
• Upon completion, participants will be able to make recommendations to their dental schools on curriculum needs within the practice management classes
