As interprofessional education and collaboration increases on university campuses, many faculty have duel appointments. Collaborative mentoring practices are necessary to facilitate the career progression of faculty who spend a significant percentage of time at different schools or departments. Presenters will discuss the collaborative process used in a dental school and a pharmacy school to mentor junior faculty. Participants will engage in discussion about the mentoring requirements of both schools, the process utilized for a collaboration between schools, the perspectives of the mentee and mentors and how collaborative mentoring can work in other institutions.
