Faculty development initiatives are vital to faculty career growth. Few dental institutions in the United States have offices within their dental schools devoted to the professional development of faculty. This seminar will highlight the commitment to faculty development at three major dental schools, including how the leaders of the programs are collaborating with each other and with other units on their campuses. Challenges and solutions will be discussed and conclude how institutions can collaborate on future faculty development initiatives.
