In July 2015, the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health received a HRSA grant to expand its interprofessional education curriculum. Within the framework of "IPE Through the Lens of Oral Health," ASDOH developed a series of team-based didactic and clinical experiences for dental, PA, DO, hygiene and nutrition students. Collaborating with a variety of university and community partners (including FQHCs), students work with low-income adults, youth in detention and individuals with disabilities. In this seminar, participants will learn from general, public health, and special care dentistry faculty as they answer moderator questions related to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
