Dental schools are experiencing change in faculty demographics including international representation. Engaging faculty from international backgrounds helps strengthen the learning environment to incorporate unique perspectives and expand collegial networking. Global networking inspires many dental schools to have student engagement in international learning experiences. This program highlights initiatives that leverage the expanding global network to impact dental education positively, highlight collaborative scholarship, develop professional learning programs and discuss potential impact on the evolving landscape of licensure. Meaningful international collaboration can support professional development for curriculum improvement and encourage faculty to explore collaboration in research and scholarship.
