Dental classes are becoming more diverse, yet it can’t be assumed that students innately possess the skills to interact conscientiously with people of diverse backgrounds. Finding time and content for development of interpersonal skills in a compressed schedule is challenging. However, working well with people with various life experiences is essential in dentistry. Presenters will introduce an online library consisting of learning resources of various media types that promote cultural humility and increase awareness of the intersectional realities of others that can be used to develop these skills. The ADEA Section on Minority Affairs sponsors this session.
