TL-016 - Experiences in Submitting to MedEdPORTAL and ADEA weTeach—Short Talks

ADEA, the Council of Faculties and AAMC MedEdPORTAL collaborated to introduce ADEA weTeach several years ago as a resource to aid dental educators in the “how to” aspects of dental education. ADEA weTeach resources are available on both the ADEA and MedEdPORTAL websites as Teach, Learn, Assess and Close the Loop topics. ADEA weTeach promotes the scholarship of teaching and learning and supports faculty development. In this session, faculty who have successfully published in MedEdPORTAL and/or the ADEA weTeach Collection will provide practical experiential information that participants can use in their own publication efforts.

Learning Objectives:

• Distinguish between MedEdPORTAL and the ADEA weTeach collection.
• Review first-hand experiential information in submitting to MedEdPORTAL and ADEA weTeach.
• Identify topics for potential ADEA weTeach submissions.
