While all health organizations endorse IPE, learning outcomes for IPE are “systematically lacking”. Further, an explicit learning guide for patient application and assessment of student performance with the patient are similarly lacking. During this workshop you will learn to transform health perspectives into learning outcomes from which a learning guide and assessment instrument was developed for a student led exercise with the student’s patient. Health perspectives included are those from Primary Care Provider, Pharmacy, Nursing, Social Work, Dentistry, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy and Home Caregiver.

Learning Objectives:

• transform IPE team perspectives into learning outcomes to guide learning and assess performance.
• adapt the IPE skillset to their own courses.
• guide learning and assess students performance on IPE by using the IPE skillset.
