This professional development workshop will take you through the collaborative benefits student-led learning offers through four distinct acts, each with increasing student participation. We will start small—discussing the incorporation of peer collaboration on assessments—and end with a bang—exploring a unique student-run model of small group collaborative learning. Throughout this session you will compete in, Are you smarter than a dental student?, exploring firsthand, collaborative opportunities working directly with students. You will leave with practical examples of how peer-led learning can be implemented in your respective institutions.

Learning Objectives:

• Recognize the value of collaborating with students in educational endeavors.
• Construct ideas on how peer-led learning may be incorporated into current curriculum.
• Identify the advantages of implementing student/faculty collaboration on the increased interest of students to pursue future careers in academia.
