The Commission on Dental Accreditation requires documentation of activities to demonstrate a program has met the standards. The standards suggest examples of evidence to demonstrate compliance. For some standards there are even suggested exhibits available in the self-study guide. This session will discuss documentation examples in AEGD and GPR resident programs for the areas of program goals and outcomes assessment, competencies for resident training and calibration for faculty. Intended outcomes of the workshop are the development of guidelines for use by programs to assist in documentation of activities.

Learning Objectives:

• Define documentation expectations of program goals and outcomes assessment as well as goals and objectives or competencies for resident training.
• Identify measurement tools and report templates to document achievement of these standards.
• Develop an individual documentation toolbox to aid in demonstrating achievement of standards.
