Student, patient and faculty/staff wellness programs are recognized as an important aspect of education, patient care and employee productivity. They are typically designed to increase awareness of health issues and help promote adherence to healthy behaviors. However, wellness encompasses a wide range of issues, and many schools have often fallen short in addressing more difficult topics. The goal of this session is to provide a number of short talks on a variety of topics often not covered in typical wellness programs and provide an opportunity for participants to learn about methods to incorporate into their own programs.
