Dr. Arnold is a 1998 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hopsital in Lexington Kentucky in 1999, and a surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center in 2002. Following a lectureship in Large Animal Surgery at Texas A&M, she joined the faculty at Kansas State University as a clinical track assistant professor . She returned to Texas A&M in 2006, and became an associate professor in 2015. Her clincal work is on equine soft tissue surgery while her research efforts are focused on the equine gastrointestinal microbiome in states of health and disease.
