Horses are particularly susceptible to colic and injury to the intestine, which can lead to many severe complications and, ultimately, death. Unfortunately, very few advances have been made in the field to improve outcome in the most severe cases of colic. The objective of this session is to discuss morbidity and mortality in surgical cases of colic.
This will be an interactive session that will draw on the experience of the presenters as well as the session attendees.
