Dr. Milan Milovancev is an Associate Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Oregon State University's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his DVM from the University of Minnesota in 2003, completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery and then a small animal surgical internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT during 2003 and 2004. He continued his advanced surgical training by completing a residency in small animal surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005-2008 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2009. Dr. Milovancev's research centers on surgical treatment of invasive tumors and he has authored over 55 peer-reviewed research articles along with multiple invited review articles and book chapters.
