Dr. Danielle M. Diamond, DVM, is currently in her third year of the Small Animal Surgery residency program at North Carolina State University. She is also a Major in the United States Army Veterinary Corps. Danielle attended veterinary school at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. From there, she went on to be officer in charge of vVeterinary Treatment Facilities at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (Havelock, NC), RAF Feltwell (Feltwell, England), Area 1 (Uijeongbu, South Korea), and Battalion Veterinarian of the 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion (Fort Stewart, GA). She was fortunate enough to have enjoyed an all-expenses paid trip to Africa when she deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, as the Surgeon Cell Veterinarian in support of the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. Danielle is incredibly passionate about Military Working Dogs and baking cookies when she is not scrubbed in to whatever exciting surgery is on the table. She also enjoys spending time wrangling her three Labradors at home.
