Central Hospital is a growing, privately owned multidisciplinary referral and emergency group. Our doctors include specialists in anesthesia, critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, radiology, exotics, behavior, dermatology, ophthalmology, oncology and rehabilitation. Additionally the hospital has an Interventional Radiology department. The hospital boasts a highly experience technician team and equipment including ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, in-house laboratory equipment, telemetry, HBOT and much more. Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine (CHVM) in Guilford and North Haven, Connecticut is recruiting experienced full and part-time emergency veterinarians to join our team.

CHVM is the first facility of its kind to serve the veterinary referral community of Connecticut. Built as an Emergency Center in 1974, we have since opened the doors to our brand new construction comprising of a 20,000+ sq. ft. state of the art 24-hour facility at a new location in November 2013.
CHVM is located in Guilford and North Haven, Connecticut, minutes from New Haven and Yale University. The locations are minutes away from the beautiful shoreline of Connecticut with open access to the Long Island Sound, hiking, skiing, and numerous outdoor activities. Several large concert venues are also nearby. New Haven County is home to many excellent school districts, beautiful residential neighborhoods, pastoral countryside property, beachfront amenities, and centuries of rich New England history. We are located less than 1.5 hours from New York City, and approximately 3 hours from Boston. Yankees and Red Sox fans are equally encouraged to apply.
