American Society of Echocardiography

The American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), founded in 1975, is the largest global nonprofit organization
for cardiovascular ultrasound imaging professionals. Comprised of over 17,000 members including physicians, sonographers, veterinarians, nurses, and scientists, ASE is the leader and advocate, setting standards and guidelines for the profession. ASE is a strong voice providing guidance, expertise, and education to its members with a commitment to improving the practice of ultrasound and imaging of the heart and cardiovascular system for better patient outcomes.
