Anne Norup is an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark and works as a neuropsychologist at Department of Neurology, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen. Dr. Norup finished her degree in Psychology from University in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2005, and started working in the traumatic brain injury (TBI) unit for severe brain injuries in Copenhagen the same year. After working as a clinician for some years, she started her PhD, which was completed in 2013. Most of her published research has examined the impact of traumatic brain injury on the family, needs and burdens in the family after brain injury and psychosocial effects of TBI in adolescents. A current and ongoing research interest is fatigue after brain injury and exploring possible interventions. Recently, Anne Norup received a large grant in order to investigate the effects of a manualized intervention program to families living with the consequences of TBI or spinal cord injury. Anne has published 27 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
