Hiral is a licensed physical therapist in the United States and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Delaware. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Mumbai, India, she got her Master’s in Public Health (Biostatistics) from University of North Texas Health Science Centre, USA. Her research focuses on investigating physical functioning, physical activity and health outcomes measures in adults with knee osteoarthritis. She is a student member and a student volunteer for the Annual Meeting Program Sub-Committee. She has received university and foundation level awards and travel fundings to present her research at national and international conferences. She serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals. Out of the research world, she is actively involved in organizing several university-level social and educational events. She spends her weekend’s biking, exploring new places and dancing especially Indian classical dance.
