Talbott Legacy Centers | President, NAMA Recovery
Zac Talbott is a native of Eastern Tennessee and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice. In 2015, Zac co-founded Counseling Solutions Treatment Centers, which operated OTPs in Georgia and North Carolina. Zac served as Program Sponsor & Operations Director of the OTPs until August 2018 when the assets of the company were acquired by BayMark Health Services/MedMark Treatment Centers. Zac remained with the Chatsworth, GA program after BayMark's acquisition as the Treatment Center Director through May 2019 when he left to become the Chief Clinical Officer of ReVIDA Recovery Centers while establishing Talbott Legacy Centers (TLC), a Tennessee company that was granted a Certificate of Need for the establishment of new OTPs in Tennessee, where he currently serves as President and CEO. Zac holds graduate level licensure and/or certification in Georgia and Tennessee as an addiction counselor and clinical supervisor; interationally reciprocal credentials through IC&RC; a Master Addiction Counselor through the NCC AP; and a Certified Medication-Assisted Treatment Advocate (CMA) through NAMA Recovery. In addition to his work with TLC, Zac currently serves as President and Chairman of the Board of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia (ADACBGA), and Zac serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Opioid Treatment Providers of Georgia (OTPG) – the Georgia state Chapter of AATOD. Zac has been a Recovery Month Planning Partner with SAMHSA since 2014. Zac credits his success in long-term recovery to medication assisted treatment, and he is also the current President of the National Alliance for Medication Assisted Recovery (NAMA Recovery). Zac received the Richard Lane/Robert Holden MAT Patient Advocacy Award at 2018 in Orlando.
