(4) - Babur and the Hindustan of the Sixteenth Century

We have built a gazeteer from Baburnama written in the first two decades of the sixteenth century by Zahiruddin Babur (1483-1530). We will present our efforts at a series of visualizations which present some key vectors of how the medieval texts imagine space, power and affect (keywords are fear, desire, pleasure). This project builds on our earlier "Delivering Post by Foot in Medieval India".
