Resources for Families
The Annual Assembly is welcoming to attendees and their families. Registration rates for guests and children are available and include the following experiences. Please wear your badge at all times.
Guest Registration $85 (age 21+): Includes entry to the Job and Fellowship Fair, Welcome Reception, PM&R Pavilion, and Sunday brunch featuring PhyzTalks. Registration does not include complimentary lunch in the PM&R Pavilion.
Child Registration $20 (age 3-20): Includes entry to the Welcome Reception, PM&R Pavilion, and Sunday brunch featuring PhyzTalks. Registration does not include complimentary lunch in the PM&R Pavilion.
Child Registration FREE (age 2 and under): Includes entry to the Welcome Reception, PM&R Pavilion, and Sunday brunch featuring PhyzTalks. Registration does not include complimentary lunch in the PM&R Pavilion.
Infant and Child Policy for the Meeting To provide an optimal learning environment for all attendees, infants and children are not permitted in the educational sessions. Exceptions will be made for nursing mothers.Children must be accompanied by a registered adult and wear their badge for admittance to the PM&R Pavilion.
Mother’s Room The Convention Center has a dedicated space for nursing mothers, and will be equipped with lockable doors, comfortable furniture, and access to power outlets.
Non-Attendee Guest Registration for the Meeting
The Non-Attendee Guest registration fee (age 21+) is $80/person and allows admittance to the Job and Fellowship Fair, Welcome Reception, PM&R Pavilion, and Sunday Brunch featuring PhyzTalks. Co-workers, or those associated within the physiatry industry, do not qualify for a non-attendee guest registration. These individuals must register in the appropriate professional or exhibitor category. Guest badges do not allow for admittance into educational sessions, Lunch and Learns and complimentary lunch options in the PM&R Pavilion, Satellite Symposia or ticketed events. Tickets for the President’s Reception are available for purchase separately from the Non-Attendee Guest registration fees.
Attire
Business casual attire is recommended for the Annual Assembly. We suggest you dress comfortably and have a jacket or sweater available in case you find the meeting rooms to be chilly.
Interfaith Gathering Room
When selecting dates for our Annual Assembly, we do our best to respect religious holidays. To assist our members attending the Assembly, the Academy offers an Interfaith Gathering Room that may be used for religious practices. If you’d like to request a gathering room, contact assembly@aapmr.org prior to the event.
