I graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing - Nurse Anesthesia tract, from The University of Texas - Health Science Center - Houston in 2011 and with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) in January 2019 from Baylor College of Medicine. I have worked at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston Texas since graduating in 2011, working within the Pediatric Cardiovascular and General Anesthesiology Departments. Serving on my state and national organizations has been very rewarding. I have served on the Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists (TxANA) Communications Committee for the last two consecutive years, and the AANA Health and Wellness Committee for two consecutive years. I have also been volunteering on the AANA ERAS SIG this year. I enjoy medical mission work and will be completing my third medical mission this year. I am very pleased and honored to have the opportunity to present at the AANA Annual Congress 2019 conference.
