Shayne D. Hauglum, PhD, CRNA is an Assistant Professor of Clinical at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. Dr. Hauglum, was one of the principle founding partners of an anesthesia practice and interventional pain clinic in northern New Hampshire until his departure in 2012. Following this, he attended the University of Miami and obtained his PhD degree in Nursing. Dr. Hauglum current research projects include the use of an innovative needle tracking for enhancing student performed ultrasound guided procedures and the use of ultrasound technology in both patient assessment/management and procedural performance.
