The study will be presented in a PowerPoint presentation which presents the learner a comparison of patient comfort with a new type of sublingual troche sedation for cataract surgery with comfort following traditional intravenous sedation. A new Cataract Sedation Tool was developed to compare the comfort of the two groups during and after surgery . The tool assessed the patients intraoperative experience for nausea, pain, and dizziness. In addition, the tool assessed the postoperative discharge time and ability to ambulate. This information was cross-referenced with the type and amount of sedation and the patients received. Statistical analysis will be presented in the slides which details the results.
