Meet the Mini Masters: Early Childhood Learning in the Museum

The Mini Masters program at the New Orleans Museum of Art features classroom instruction, multiple museum tours, and a final showcase of student work. Since its pilot program in 2012, the program has adapted, expanded, and developed teaching tools for classroom educators. Come learn the recipe for successful interactions with some of our youngest visitors.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, participant will be able to explore strategies for involving Pre-Kindergarten students and their teachers through an arts-integrated multiple visit program.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to create opportunities to increase engagement with younger audiences and their families.
• Upon completion, participant will be able to identify areas for age-appropriate programs and experiences for visitors.
