New Orleans’ Preservation Hall was established in 1961 to honor one of America’s truest art forms – Traditional New Orleans Jazz. Operating as a music venue, a touring band, and a non-profit organization, Preservation Hall continues its mission today as a cornerstone of New Orleans music and culture. Situated in the heart of the French Quarter on St. Peter Street, the Preservation Hall venue presents intimate, acoustic New Orleans Jazz concerts over 350 nights a year featuring ensembles from a current collective of 100+ local master practitioners. On any given night, audiences bear joyful witness to the evolution of this venerable and living tradition. During this private concert at Preservation Hall, attendees will have an opportunity to listen to music associated with New Orleans, learn more about the venue's connection with the Civil Rights, and engage directly with musicians in a Q&A session.

Accessibility
Our facility is ADA accessible. The building, built in 1817, has one main entrance on St. Peter St. The iron gates open wider to allow for larger wheelchairs. There are two accessible toilets in the building, one in the courtyard, and one in our back office. We have a ramp to enter into the venue itself.
Guests should dress casually and comfortably and should bring a bottle of water.
