The New Orleans Arts & Culture Coalition (NOACC) is a collective of local arts, education, and cultural non-profit organizations that serve as a coordinated voice for the recognition and promotion of civil and human rights, history, and culture in New Orleans. Under this collective umbrella, we wish to expose audiences to New Orleans' African American history and culture through authentic grass roots museums, sites and sacred spaces where much of the most interesting history and culture remains unseen by most visitors to our city.

Bus will depart from Convention Center at 12:30 PM.

Ticket price: $30.00

Lunch will be provided.

Accessibility
Some locations may have four or five steps.

Guests should bring a camera, umbrella, walking shoes and a jacket if necessary.

Learning Objectives:

• Attendees will understand the role of that small grass roots museums play within a greater metropolitan area.
• Attendees will learn that a museum doesn’t have to encompass many narratives but can tell one story that spans many generations.
• Upon completion of the tour participants will have experienced three very different historically rich neighborhoods and learned the significance of living history from the cultural bearers whose mission it is to share it.
