Preview the Louisiana Children’s Museum new facility in City Park, scheduled to open in fall 2019. Enjoy a guided tour and learn how the new museum came to be, from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina through the integrated design process that helped bring the revamped mission to life. Accessibility
The Louisiana Children’s Museum’s new building is fully compliant with ADA requirements. The building has two levels and all areas are accessible via elevator. Service animals are allowed. The primary construction phase of the project will be complete for the building and site, so hardhats and safety equipment will not be required.
Guests should bring closed toe shoes, a camera, and weather-appropriate clothing & accessories.
