The New Orleans Jazz Museum celebrates jazz in the city where it was born. Strategically located at the intersection of the French Quarter and the Frenchmen Street live music corridor, the New Orleans Jazz Museum is in the heart of the city’s vibrant music scene. Through partnerships with local, national and international educational institutions, the New Orleans Jazz Museum promotes the global understanding of jazz as one of the most innovative, historically pivotal musical art forms in world history.

Accessibility
The New Orleans Jazz Museum is handicap accessible. We recommend that visitors with mobility needs park in our rear courtyard. Wheelchairs are available at the front desk. There are two elevators that provide access to all floors of the building.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion, the participant will be able to define the different partnerships and collaborations that the Jazz Museum has within the community. 
• Upon completion, the participant will be able to describe the structure of our Museum, as well as some of our most prominent collections. 
• Upon completion, the participant will be able to experience a live performance and list the Museum's upcoming events.
