Go behind the scenes of the Louisiana State Museum's costume and textile collection, featuring over forty thousand objects related to carnival, costumes and accessories, and textiles. Focus on carnival masking and costume design, discovering how processes and traditions have evolved throughout history. Following the tour of collections storage, move to the historic Cabildo and Arsenal in Jackson Square for a hands-on workshop. While snacking on king cake and coffee, create your own costume pins inspired by historic designs in the collection.

Ticket price: $25.00
Snacks provided.
