And as food and drink have increasingly become foci of cultural study, they are ready subjects for exploring culture in exhibitions. How do we use everyday items and programming to advance the story? This program will involve a brief tour of the museum and a seated discussion session. The event is multi-sensory experience on a single floor museum that is wheelchair accessible. There are tactile artifacts that will be incorporated into the tour. There will be auditory and visual experiences, and upon request SoFAB staff can offer a guided tactile experience. The museum allows service animals and offers a wheelchair for visitors to use.
