There are three essential "make or break" factors in a CEO and Board Chair relationship at museums. A CEO and Chair must appreciate how critical their relationship is to the success of the organization and its purpose. Little can be accomplished in the organization should the CEO and Chair relationship crumble. The relationship is a partnership that helps to define how the organization will function and the entire organization is affected. This session will explore how such strong and effective relationships ensure success in the organization. The panel will have an open discussion/dialogue about their experiences and provide recommendations on how to develop and foster this critical relationship.
