Community Engagement & Impact
This two-part interactive session is a practical introduction/primer/refresher on how to design, create, analyze, present, and use timing and tracking (T&T) studies to improve visitor experience, operational management, and exhibits at any museum. It includes an overview of why and how T&T has been and can be used easily and efficiently by organizations of any size. There will be discussion of the benefits of this simple method, what it does and does not do, and how it can help support mission and organizational goals. Participants will work in small groups with real data sets, conducting analysis using freely available templates. Discussions will include approaches for organizations of all sizes and types. Part 1 focuses on how to collect and analyze the data. Part 2 focuses on how to present and interpret the data.
