Educational and Cultural Area Coordinator
Museums Colonial and Santa Clara
Viviana Arce received a B.A. in History from University of Valle and an M.A. in History from University of the Andes. She joined the educational and cultural area of Colonial and Santa Clara museums in 2012. Viviana and her team are responsible for developing all the educational activities of both museums, thought out for different audiences. The museums have various programs, among which are those of accessibility: work with early childhood, people with visual disabilities, women victims of violence and the vulnerable population who for various reasons cannot attend the physical facilities of the museum. Viviana and her team have created different strategies to reach these audiences and among them stand out the Traveling Didactic Rooms, which have been in existence five years. Viviana also is Professor of History from The Autonoma University of Colombia. She teaches courses on Art History and Museum education.
