Dakota Hoska, Oglála Lakȟóta (Pine Ridge, Wounded Knee) received a bachelor’s in Fine Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Minneapolis, MN and is completing her master's in Art History at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. She began working at Mia in 2015 as a Shakopee Mdewakaton Fellow, but continued on as a Research Assistant supporting the exhibition: Hearts of Our People: Native Women Artists.
