Gary has been with Thanksgiving Point for over14 years. Gary started as the Director of the Museum of Ancient Life. He was eventually given responsibility for Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point and a few years later during an Institute restructuring, he was given the new position of Director of Venue Guest Service which now includes: the Museum of Ancient Life, Farm Country, Ashton Gardens, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, the Butterfly Biosphere, ticketing/box office, and reception. Gary has a Bachelors degree in Business Management as well as an MBA from Brigham Young University. Prior to his time at Thanksgiving Point, Gary spent several years in Retail Grocery Management heavily focused on customer service as a means to develop customer loyalty. Gary is married and has six children and 10 grandchildren. In his spare time Gary likes to river raft, garden, hike and fish. He is presently teaching himself how to play the piano.
