Diana Xochitl Munn is a museum professional with expertise in administration, board relations, strategic planning, educational and community outreach program development, international relations, communications and marketing. She currently serves as Director of Public Programs for the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture, a partnership of four museums at Harvard University that includes the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Harvard Semitic Museum, the Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology. Prior to this role, Ms. Munn worked for eleven years at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History where she developed a multifaceted outreach program to cultivate Latino audiences; oversaw strategic initiatives on behalf of the museum’s Director; served as the liaison to the museum’s advisory board; and managed projects in scientific research, collections management, and education. Ms. Munn holds a B.A. in biology and art history from Smith College, an M.A. in botany from the University of Texas at Austin, and a graduate certificate in Adult Education from Johns Hopkins University.
