Distance Learning Manager
The National WWII Museum
Chrissy Gregg is the Distance Learning Manager at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans. She has been with the Museum since 2011 and oversees the variety of distance learning initiatives for both K-12 and lifelong learning audiences, reaching tens of thousands of participants a year. This includes the Museum’s Telly and Suncoast Emmy award-winning Electronic Field Trip series, which are highly-produced webcasts featuring student reporters exploring important World War II sites and stories. Previous to her role at the Museum, Chrissy worked at the Indianapolis Museum of Art as a Public Programs Assistant. She has been a member of the International Society of Technology and Education (ISTE) since 2013 and served as a leader of the Interactive Videoconferencing Professional Learning Network.
Chrissy has an M.A in Museum Studies from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree in Art and History from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She has curated an exhibit on the Museum’s collection of Allied propaganda posters and her favorite World War II topic is the Monuments Men. In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys painting and parading with her Mardi Gras marching group, Krewe des Fleurs.
