Having lived in Denver for over 14 years, Luisa Zamora has been involved in a wide range of community organizations and projects. She currently is the School and Community Programs Coordinator for the Denver Art Museum where she develops human-centered community programs, integrates culturally responsive practices & advocates for more institutional accessibility. She is a museum and arts educator, avid learner and decolonizer who seeks equity-based models for public engagement in arts and education. Luisa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and a minor in Chicano Studies from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has been working in educational settings for the past seven years, as her passion is working with both kids, youth and adults in under-served communities.
