This course will demonstrate and discuss the entire process involved in virtually planning, placing and temporizing the immediate single tooth replacement from diagnosis to fabrication of an immediate temporary restoration. Participants will observe a live (IOS) intra oral scan of the maxilla and mandible and they will import and articulate STL files into a DICOM (CBCT) X-ray. Then they will plan an implant with focus on ideal placement and virtually wax-up an ideal single tooth implant restoration. The participants will export the planned file for surgical template printing or for dynamic implant navigation. A file will also be exported to the lab for temporary crown milling to do a pickup technique that can be utilized on the immediate implant. Each participant will then surgically place an implant and abutment on a model. Once the implant is placed, the participants will do a pickup of an immediate temporary milled shell to fabricate an easy but aesthetically pleasing temporary crown on a model which they may take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience implant placement using dynamic navigation.
