This workshop will focus on helping participants with improving their IV access techniques. Participation will be limited to provide individualized attention. Participants will practice on IV simulators. Topics will include site selection, aids, catheter selection, and discussion on how to improve the first attempt success rate.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the best site for IV access or phlebotomy
Demonstrate ways to increase first attempt success for IV access or phlebotomy
Apply techniques demonstrated to optimize veins for cannulation
