Implant long-term success is related to surgical procedure, components, restoration, and long-term monitoring. To date, most of the research has focused on osseointegration and surgery. However, it is likely we have all missed a more relevant tissue integration: the soft tissue interface. This will be explored in a scientific fashion, not only how to promote healing, but also to discuss monitoring and the ability to provide long-term care. The research shown is undertaken by Dr. Wadhwani in association with the universities with whom he works. This lecture is guaranteed to change your approach to dental implants: surgically, restoratively, and with the long-term perspective in mind.
