This ALLA-sponsored mentoring event will feature Latinx anthropologists and junior scholars of color as they engage in a round-table discussion of some of the challenge’s scholars of color face in academia and possible strategies to navigate them. This year the session will focus on Community-Based Research. Within the session we will tackle topics such as; insider/outsider research, navigating research funding, and methods in elevating community voices.
