Chip Colwell, editor-in-chief of Sapiens, Amanda Mascarelli, managing editor of Sapiens, and Jeff Martin, the AAA’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs will discuss public perceptions of social science research, the importance of messaging, and how to write for the public. Participants will learn how to distill their mission into powerful statements, storytelling techniques, position themselves as a trusted resource, and how to write for Sapiens and other popular publications.
