Council for Museum Anthropology
The Museum Methods event is for students at the undergraduate, MA, or PhD level interested in learning about curatorial and research methods necessary for working in museum collections and institutions. Sessions will be led by senior scholars, practitioners, and community members on a range of museum methods and professional practices, including curating exhibits, collaborating with communities, material culture analysis, and creating critically engaged projects for a broad audience. Students will get to explore the Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at the University of British Columbia and network with scholars and peers. Transport and lunch will be provided.
